Your reflexology session and stay takes place in the "bungalow", located within the Bethel Christian Avenue Laurel Hill Historic District and is suitable for one guest at a time. We truly want you to wind down and embrace the mundane.
This minimalistic bungalow is situated 40 feet from my house. There are very few electronic distractions. No television set or wifi provided and please, no smoking.
You may want to explore the farmers markets, malls and restaurants. Stony Brook University is a 5 minute drive. A local train will take you to New York City or ferry to Bridgeport.
IT'S OK TO SLOW DOWN There are many historic landmarks. Right on Christian Avenue is the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church - 175 years young. Laurel Hill Cemetery is over 100 years old. The Legion Hall, quiet now, was the place to frequent for socializing. Eato House, now in the process of restoration, was built in the 1800s.
CONTENTMENT IS RICH Avis car rental is in the area as well as taxi service. The bungalow is within walking distance to the mill pond, post office, library and local stores. Locals gather at West Meadow Beach.
ABOUT THE BUNGALOW Find solace if that is what you seek. This one bedroom with porch, living room, reading alcove, bathroom with shower, eat in kitchen and back enclosed yard was created for that purpose.
Amenities include microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, plates, cups, micro wave utensils, paper products, tea, coffee, bottled water, towel, washcloth, soap and reading material. We are not wheelchair accessible.
